Lip Sync

This is the first lip syncing video we created and I taught us a lot about how to film and edit a video. Also it made us thought a lot about camera angles and how the actors need to pronounce the words well and be able to get into the role well to portray what is happening in the music video and keep the audience interested. I think that these two actors work well in the music video as I'm sure that these two people will be the same people we use in the actual music video.

My favourite part of the music video is that part when a low angle is used and the actors uses his hand to show 'look in my eyes' as the actor really gets into the role and makes the song look very realistic. This also links ti the theorist of Andrew Goodwin as pat of this theory is about linking the lyrics to the visuals sic I think works very well. Also the lighting works very well as it's a day with the sun which is natural lighting. If you go into a studio, the lights can look yellow and look fake.

To improve we could definitely make sure that the actors are lip singing to the right tempo of the song as some parts of the video can be seen as out of sync. The actors are out of sync usually at the start of the clips and so making sure they rehearse beforehand is a must. Also to make editing easier, we should of wrote down the order of shots we had so we didn't have to go through each clip and find out where they go in the song.
