From looking at the history of music videos I have learnt how the style, technologies and ideas have changed over time. I think that the huge change in technology has mostly influenced the development of music videos because they can now be viewed on websites such as YouTube, mobile applications and on TV channels. The development of software/hardware/websites has formed a lot more artists as they can upload their content for free to video sharing websites/software. 

This task has also helped me gain ideas for my own music videos because I now know more detailed information on new music videos and what the differences are from the older music videos. This is because a lot of new music videos have a storyline compared to the previous music videos. A storyline is designed to engage the audience to the music even more than they may have already done.
