Digipak Inspiration

Digipak Inspiration on PhotoPeach

Instead of looking online at digipaks I decided to look in a music store called HMV. This is because there is not a great selection to look through online and in a store you'll see all the top digipaks along with older and popular ones on a shop shelf.

All the ones that appealed to me are featured above and I look at the front cover and back cover. As I was in a store, I couldn't open the CD to see what was inside because that would of been very helpful if I could. Overall what I like about all of these digipaks are the range of coloured used on the artists themselves and the simplicity of the back cover too. This definitely helped me to come up with an idea for my digipak as I now know what to focus on specifically as I feel as though I know what the image of the band is going to look like as I very unsure before.

Above is a list of things that I thought would look good on my digipak which I thought of from the top of my head. Most of them on here definitely require Photoshop techniques which I am unsure of how to do them, but with the help of online tutorials I think I should be able to create it. Also I know other students who know how to use Photoshop well and so if I get stuck I get also ask them.
