From this task I have learnt about what people like and dislike about previous student's music videos. I have tried to look at ones which relate to the music video we want to create. Finding about it now is good to help us in planning because we would know what to include and what not to include. 

We asksed people around our target audience which are people who are in the late teenage years. We thought that this would be a good audience because we are that age and would know what people would like best rather than looking at something for an older or younger audience. However, we did ask one person who is older than our target audience. We thought that this would be a goos idea just to see what older people would like and if it would appeal to them. Also we can see whether they gave different opinions or spoke about different things to what other people done. 

For our final video we have an idea of a studio and a narrative outdoor shoot. The first two videos we made the four groups look at focus on being in a studio and we wanted to see the difference in the two as one did get a better grade than the other. The last one was purely an outdoor shoot an includes really good footage and is edited together very well. The narrative is different to what we would want to do, but we felt that it had been put together well and so thats why it was used in the last focus group.

It's hard to say what elements I would include from the elements as these videos are all very different because they have different meanings behind them. From the video for 'Stuck' I would look more thoroughly in detail at the different camera angles and editing techniques they have used and when to see how they have planned it out. The music video for 'You Got The Love' wasn't very good in the focus group discussion and so I will not look at this video again to see what they have done. The video for 'Do My Thing' is a good example for a studio shoot and this would also be good to look at what editing they have used and to the camera angles.
