From looking at the codes and conventions of music videos it has given me a in-depth knowledge of different genres of songs and mainly what they use and how they are all different. For my music video I most probably want to base it on a song with a pop genre and so 'Roar' by Katy Perry fits that style.
Also I would need to do what most of the majority of music videos do to make mine look professional and look like everything has been account into account when it's being filmed. This includes thinking closely about camera angles and changing after only about a line in a song. Also the editing is mostly unnoticeable and the audience mainly focuses on the storyline and the song. This is what the director has intended to do and it would need to come across well for this to happen.
