Digipak Poster Progress 1

To start creating my digipak poster I added a black background. This is because the writing is white and to be able to see it, a dark background must be places over the top. I used the template I designed a while ago to help me position my text on the page. The font of the text is the same font used on the digipak and I wanted to keep the house style across the two products as it makes it look professional and not from two different bands.

The top line of writing id actually larger than the bottom line but is not too noticeable. It adds variety to the digipak poster and makes the more important information stand out. For example if someone didn't know the band, they would want to know that they have a debut album and a top international single rather than the name of the album and the name of the song. This is because they would of never heard of it before and doesn't provide a lot of useful information unless you do actually know the band.

The name of the band is in a larger font than all of the other writing and fills up the page from left to right. It would need to stand out to the audience as they may recognise the band, or the unusual and under-used word may pull in their attention
